Christmas

Yes, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love the cozy feeling that you get next to a fire after suffering the chilling air. I love the break that people get from work and from school so they can spend time with family. On Christmas Eve, we celebrate the birth of our savior by eating what the shepherds might have eaten. We sit on the floor and reenact the nativity scene. We call it "Shepherd's Supper."
Christmas Day is my favorite day of the year. We all wake up, parcel out stockings, eat breakfast (Green Eggs & Ham and Cinnamon Rolls) and then we do presents. We open our presents in turn, going youngest to oldest. The younger kids usually have a lot more presents, so we let them take a couple extra turns.

Anyway, this year I got:
  • A new white shirt
  • A new tie
  • An orange
  • A CTR ring
  • Chocolate/Candy
  • Money from my grandparents
  • A new i-pod
  • A gift card to i-tunes

My Dad also told me he would help out with my ballroom lessons. This year, I'm glad that I have a loving family that I can spend Christmas with, and I'm so grateful that Christ was born and died for us.
